Software Product
Software titles in your catalogue. Records publisher, category, current version, license model (perpetual, subscription, per-user), and lifecycle status.
User
People who consume software licenses. Tracks name, email, department, manager, cost center, and employment status for allocation and reclamation.
Device
Computers and servers where software is installed. Covers hostname, device type, operating system, primary user assignment, and active status.
License Agreement
Software contracts with publishers. Records agreement type, number, start/end dates, total value, auto-renewal flag, and contract owner.
Entitlement
What you are licensed to use under an agreement. Links agreement to product with quantity, metric (per user, per device, per core), and unit cost.
Installation
Software deployed on devices. Tracks product, device, installed version, install date, last-used date, and discovery source (SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
Compliance Position
License compliance status by product. Compares entitled quantity against deployed installations and calculates the gap to flag under- or over-licensing.
Renewal
Upcoming agreement renewals. Tracks due date, notice period, decision status (renew, renegotiate, terminate), proposed value, and owner.
Cost Allocation
Distributes license costs to departments for chargebacks. Links an agreement to a cost center with percentage or fixed-amount allocation per period.
