Privacy Policy

How JSM LaunchPad handles your data — the short version: we collect very little, and what the app processes stays inside your Atlassian instance.

Effective: February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Let's Talk Solutions Ltd (Company No. 16313782), registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"), handles information in connection with the JSM LaunchPad application and the jsmlaunchpad.com website. These terms should be read alongside our Terms of Service. The data controller is Let's Talk Solutions Ltd (Andreas Nyberg), registered at 37b Stockwell Road, London, SW9 9QB, United Kingdom.

JSM LaunchPad is built on Atlassian Forge, which means the app runs entirely inside your Jira Cloud instance. Your schema data, configuration, and credentials never leave Atlassian's infrastructure. We do not operate external servers that receive your data.

What We Collect

Through the app (JSM LaunchPad on Forge):

  • API credentials — If you optionally provide an Atlassian API token for advanced reference type configuration, it is stored in Forge encrypted storage within your Atlassian instance. We cannot access these credentials.
  • Schema configuration — Template selections and deployment preferences are processed within the Forge runtime. This data is not sent to us or to any external server.
  • No personal data collection — The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal information about your end users. It creates JSM Assets schemas (object types, attributes, relationships) and nothing else.

Through the website (jsmlaunchpad.com):

  • Basic analytics — The site is hosted on Cloudflare and may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-focused and does not use client-side tracking or cookies. It collects aggregate page view data only (no personal identifiers).
  • Contact form — If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. This is processed by Formspree and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Web fonts — The website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When you visit the site, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to retrieve font files, which means Google receives your IP address. Google states that it does not use this data for tracking or link it to other Google services. See Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.

How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information described above for these purposes only:

  • To provide the app's core functionality — creating and managing JSM Assets schemas within your Jira instance
  • To respond to support requests and inquiries submitted through the contact form
  • To understand aggregate website traffic patterns (no individual tracking)

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not build user profiles. We do not run targeted advertising.

Where Your Data Lives

App data stays within Atlassian's infrastructure. JSM LaunchPad runs on Atlassian Forge, which means:

  • All processing happens inside the Forge sandbox within your Jira Cloud instance
  • Any stored data (such as API credentials or deployment state) uses Forge Storage, which is encrypted and scoped to your Atlassian site
  • We do not operate our own servers, databases, or APIs that receive data from the app
  • Schema templates are bundled with the app and deployed locally — no external template server

Website data is handled by Cloudflare (hosting and analytics) and Formspree (contact form). Both are established services with their own privacy policies.

Third Parties

The following third-party services are involved in operating JSM LaunchPad:

  • Atlassian — The app runs on Atlassian Forge within your Jira Cloud instance. Atlassian's privacy policy governs data within their platform.
  • Cloudflare — Hosts the marketing website and provides privacy-focused analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Formspree — Processes contact form submissions. See Formspree's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — Serves web fonts used on the website. Your browser connects to Google's servers to load font files. See Google Fonts privacy information.

We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Cookies

The jsmlaunchpad.com website is a static site and does not set its own cookies. Cloudflare may set a minimal technical cookie (__cflb or similar) for load balancing purposes. We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

The JSM LaunchPad Forge app does not set cookies. It operates within Atlassian's Jira interface, which has its own cookie policy managed by Atlassian.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion — Ask us to delete your personal data
  • Portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection — Object to processing of your personal data

In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold is your name and email from a contact form submission. For data stored within the Forge app (such as API credentials), you can remove it directly through the app's settings panel, or by uninstalling the app from your Jira instance.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@letstalksolutions.co.uk.
