JSM LaunchPad

Deploy a working JSM Assets schema in minutes instead of weeks.

You need to set up JSM Assets but don't want to spend weeks designing the structure from scratch. JSM LaunchPad creates it for you — object types, attributes, and relationships — so you skip the setup work and go straight to a usable result.

Safe to try on production
  • Does not modify existing schemas
  • Does not delete or overwrite Assets data
  • Creates a new schema only
Will this work on my site?

Yes. JSM Launchpad runs as an Atlassian Forge app inside your Jira cloud instance. If you have JSM Assets enabled, it works. No external services, no data leaving your site.

Will it break anything?

No. Launchpad only creates new schemas. It never touches your existing schemas, object types, or data. Every deployment is additive — nothing gets overwritten or deleted.

How fast can I get a result?

Under five minutes. Pick a schema, give it a name, and deploy. You get a complete structure with object types, attributes, and relationships ready to populate.

What you actually get

This is what your Jira Assets looks like after deploying a schema with LaunchPad.

What you can do with it

Create Schema

Pick from production-ready templates and deploy a full JSM Assets schema with object types, attributes, and relationships. This is the core of the app — the thing that saves you weeks of setup work.

Import Schema

Restore a schema from a Launchpad export file. Useful for moving schemas between environments, backing up your work, or sharing configurations across teams.

Your Schemas

Browse and export schemas you have deployed. View object types and attributes, and export to the Launchpad interchange format for backup or migration.

Settings

Optional API credentials for advanced reference type configuration. Most deployments do not need this.

How it works
1

Install the app from the Atlassian Marketplace into your Jira Cloud site. It runs on Forge — your data stays in Atlassian infrastructure.

2

Choose a schema that fits your use case. Each template includes a ready-made set of object types, attributes, and relationships.

3

Deploy it. Launchpad creates the full schema in your JSM Assets workspace. Object types, attributes, relationships — ready to use.

4

Populate your data. The structure is in place. Add your assets manually, via CSV import, or through your existing discovery tools.

Available schemas

Each schema is designed for a specific operational scenario. Two are free, the rest require a paid license.

Built from real deployments

These structures come from real service management implementations and follow practical ITSM usage — not theoretical design. Each schema has been shaped by how teams actually use JSM Assets day to day.
